What are some types of Alternative Options available?

Nero-Linguistics Programming (NLP)

The most accurate description I have ever heard for NLP is this: "NLP is the Art and Science of Personal Excellence".

NLP as a science was co-developed in the 70's to help us learn how to find ways of modeling professionals who are the best in their field to become as good at or better than they are/were. This is then studied further until it can be put into the most efficient format and taught to others.

NLP as a Practice (Art) uses these skills to teach others to use these skills. NLP Practitioners use a variety of tools/skills/techniques which were a foundation of some of the top Therapists back in the 70's (ie: Virginia Satier - Fritz Peral - Milton Erickson). Over time many other techniques and skills have been developed that enhance the art of NLP work. Over the years many of the other models have been included as well that have increased the knowledge and abilities of Practitioners to help their clients.

In a more ‘layman’ terms I like to describe NLP as a way to use what the brain already does naturally to help achieve what an individual wants - in a faster and more efficient manner than what is generally experienced.

As an NLP Master Practitioner we offer the skills of practitioner work to our clients during coaching sessions and when appropriate use particular NLP techniques to help our clients achieve their goals more easily. Check out our
Workshops & Trainings Page to find out more about our NLP trainings.

Hypnotherapy

Although most people have a concept of what hypnosis/hypnotherapy is. There are many misconceptions about it. The reality is much less ‘dramatic’ than what the media portrays. In hypnosis a partnership is entered into between a client and hypnotherapist in which the client agrees to allow themselves to relax into a state on a deeper conscious level. The hypnotherapist is only the guide on this journey, the client is the true hypnotist. If a client refuses to be hypnotized or defies a hypnotherapist’s attempts they are not part of the agreement and thus there will be no true hypnotic state.

Hypnosis is an amazing tool that can be used in many areas for alternative care. Because habit breaking/developing and changes are much easier to instill on a deeper conscious level Hypnosis offers a wonderful tool for these areas. Hypnosis can also be a great asset for individuals looking to ‘search’ their mind for what may seem like lost memories, or even past lives. It is often a wonderful benefit for individuals who have had a difficult time facing an area in their past or getting threw a trauma as the mind has a wonderful way of protecting. In this way hypnosis can be used, by a competent hypnotherapist, to get to the source of an issue while keeping a level of protection for the client.

There are many other areas that have been and are being studied where hypnosis can benefit us. Such at time distortion, and mutual hypnosis.

As a Hypnotherapist we use our skill like any tool, when we feel it is the best option for our client. We work with each client on an individual basis to decide what option(s) they would best benefit from. Hypnosis is no different, it is not a tool I use ‘frequently’ but one that can have great benefits for the right situations. We are currently working on developing Hypnosis & Guided meditation CD’s to offer to our clients and students.

Guided Meditation

Guided Meditation is a tool used to help guide individuals to a relaxed state. There are many ways this tool can be used and in many ways. Often scripted, a practitioner will guide a client or group of clients through one if not several techniques that encourage relaxation. This may be the only goal of a guided meditation or a Practitioner may use it for a variety of other options such as encouraging a better learning state, visual and color therapies or one of many other options.

Guided Meditation is a tool frequently used to help our clients relax and feel more comfortable in a situation. We use it both in individual situations as well as group work. We are currently working on developing Hypnosis & Guided meditation CD’s to offer to our clients and students.

Reiki

Reiki is a energy healing art that originated in Japan. The word Reiki is Japanese in origin as well. Rei meaning ‘universal’ and Ki meaning ‘life force energy’ (Chi - in Chinese, Prana - in Indian, Light - in other Spiritual Circles).

In Reiki the energy flows from a higher source, through the practitioner to their hands. The energy then passes on to the Client. This is a hands on or off technique. Meaning that the Practitioner may or may not lay their hands directly on the client - it is not necessary but often the choice of the individual Practitioner.

Reiki II Practitioners can also pass energy using distant healing. By focusing on a client who is in need of a healing in another area. Or a Practitioner may use a material item such as a stuffed toy, pillow or candle to share energy with others.

As a Reiki Practitioner & Master we offer a few options to our clients. We offer distant healing described above. Reiki Intensives which give a client three to five days (every other day) of treatments to get the body cleansed and balanced and we highly recommend to all new clients. Then we offer basic Reiki sessions which are either a full (front/back) once every week to two weeks or a half followed by another half session (front/back) once a week. Along with general Reiki sessions we often use other energy tools as well to enhance the healing session.

Meridian Point Therapy

Thought Field Therapy (TFT) - Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) - Meridian Point Therapy (MPT)

All Meridian Therapies are based on a foundation laid out by Roger Callahan in developing TFT. These skills are one of the fastest and most efficient ways for the help of immediate release, and reduction of many symptoms and issues.

Using techniques and Patterns relating to Meridian Points, a Practitioner can offers clients a simple yet highly effective tool for relief of symptoms in many areas of emotional and physical concerns.

As a Meridian Point therapist I often teach my clients certain techniques in which they can be empowered to help themselves in situations where they need it most. When working on an individual concern I use several different testing techniques to help a client get the best results.

Nero-Emotional Balance (NEB)

Although the foundation for this technique is Meridian Point Therapy. This is a much more advanced tool in ways of diagnostics and treatment. Using a variety of tools to perform energy and muscle testing at a deeper level which involves energy, chakras, and an integration aspect at what seems to be molecular level.

Time-Line Constellation

Time-Line Constellation work uses a variety of techniques combined to offer clients a powerful release of family, history and generational issues. It is a form of energy work based around concepts developed to help individuals connect with energy of the past and use that to change feelings and beliefs that are effecting their current life situations.

Time-Line Constellation is one of the most powerful tools I work with when dealing with Life Coaching. Offering amazing results for family history and relationship concerns as well as many other areas of personal concern.
